With an obsolete fleet of content tools failing to support our ever-changing business, I was solely responsible for the UX research, planning, conceptual design, prototyping, and html/css development of our new generation of web-based content tools.
WHAT I DID
This project began with me driving concensus among leadership that our existing ill-equiped internal tools would eventually lead to our business being less agile and more prone to future competition. While managing multiple other projects, I led multple rounds of contexual inquiry to understand pitfalls of the current software to inform best practices to drive on the new platform. I also implemented multiple rounds of rapid prototyping (keynote, html) in order to quickly move from idea to final code within a few weeks. The outcome was a scaleable tool that has since seen additional functionality added with little to no UX support.
Stakeholder/user interviews, contextual inquiry, process workflow analysis, site mapping, hypotheses/success metric generation, cross-functional design studio, rapid prototyping (Keynote & HTML/CSS), high-fidelty design, final HTML/CSS handed off to development, and pattern library development.
